Welcome to are Haflinger site Our love for the Haflinger horses started about 13 years ago. At that time we bought 2 Haflinger geldings for recreational horse riding.We also made a lot of family trips with horse and carriage. (see photogalery). During my Middleschool periode our horses stayed at a riding school at Ridderkerk. At that time I became more serious about dressage(training) and took lessons with a well known instructor. As I was very successful with my Haflinger horse amongst the large dressage horses I was stimulated even more to continue with the Haflinger horse. After graduating from Middle school I started a 4 year Highschool course for Horsefarming which I, in the meantime, finished successfully. At this time we bought a farm with the necessary facilities to start a Haflinger Breeding farm, at Mijnsheerenland,(South Holland). Our goal is to breed good grade horses with most importantly, good character, exterior and motion, therefore we only breed with thoroughbred bloodlines. Although we have had a lot of information from people having experience with Haflinger horses for more than 20 year, any additional information is most welcome.
